Dr. Duffy is a native of Ireland, and did his medical education and internship at National University in Galway and his internal medicine fellowship at Duke University in North Carolina. His cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships both took place in the Cleveland Clinic\'s Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology, and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians Ireland. Dr. Duffy is the Associate Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Akron General Medical Center.

Dr. Stephens is a native of Canton, and received his medical education at the Medical University of Ohio and his internship and residency at the University of Michigan. He did his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he was the chief cardiology fellow from 2006-2007. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology, and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Emil Hayek is the Founder of Western Reserve Heart Care. He is the Medical Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at Akron General Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

Western Reserve Heart Care received its echocardiography accreditation from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL) in December 2007, and its nuclear medicine accreditation from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL) in March of 2008.
